The River of Fire is a Spirit-filled church with a diverse congregation that allows the Holy Spirit to move freely in its midst. The church desires to see many souls saved in the last days. We have a burning passion to see each believer equipped in the word of God and the moving of His Spirit. Our hearts cry out for revival. The saying of the River of Fire is, “It’s not church as usual." We want God’s usual in every service, for Him to have His way! 

     Pastor Saul Tapias is the Lead Pastor here at The River of Fire along with his wife, Pamela Gilley Tapias. Pastor Saul received his training at RHEMA Colombia Bible training Center. Pamela received her training at New Life Drama Co. in Cleveland, Tennessee, and her local church. Pastor Saul and Pamela are both licensed ministers with The Assemblies of God. They met in Colombia while Pamela was on a short-term missions trip where they fell in love and later married in 1998 They began their ministry while serving as youth Pastors on the mission field in Colombia, South America. 

They served faithfully for 10 years until the Lord led them to Pastor a church in Davenport, Florida. Revival fires burn in their hearts for the United States of America. Our church is privileged to be in fellowship with the Assemblies Of God.

     They were privileged to be a part of a mighty outpouring of God’s Spirit in their youth group! And have witnessed thousands come to the Lord through the evangelistic plays, street evangelism, and preaching and teaching of the Word. Sick bodies have been healed and many hearts were ignited to run with the fire of God. They have carried the gospel to several countries such as Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Panama, Mexico, Venezuela, Haiti, and now the United States!
